Jamie joins AEDC with a long history of finance and economic development experience. As the former Chief Financial Officer of a $150 million credit union, Jamie Cecilia has spent the last twenty years working in finance and economic development. He is particularly proud of the fact that, as a grant writer, he secured $8 million in funding for business expansion projects that created over 500 jobs in Upstate New York.
He earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Union College, as well as Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degrees from Syracuse University. He holds several nonprofit management certifications from the Cornerstone Foundation in Fundraising, Grant Seeking and Finance.
Jamie lives in Clinton County and as an avid fisherman greatly enjoys the Adirondack trout streams and the small communities that they run through.
Jamie is a Board member and Treasurer of the AuSable River Valley Business Association where he provides finance and accounting support, in addition to volunteering at local community events, including Jay Day.
