Business help due to COVID-19
Our team is connecting Northern New York business owners with the new loan products that can help them make it through this difficult time and beyond.
How we can help:
- Business Counseling: AEDC continues to provide no-cost counseling for any small business. We emphasize the need for businesses to implement strategic measures to address revenue shortfalls and fixed expenses.
- Access to capital: AEDC has 5 active loan funds through the Small Business Administration (SBA), US Department of Agriculture Rural Development and NY Empire State Development for existing small businesses to meet short, mid-term or long-term needs. AEDC has also created a short-term Disaster Loan Fund for small, working capital microloans. Click here to access the AEDC Disaster Loan information sheet.
- Technical Assistance in Loan/Grant Products: AEDC can also connect businesses with the resources available from New York State and the federal government, particularly through the CARES Act. We can also provide no-cost technical assistance when applying for these products.
