The Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is pleased to announce two new hires to its team in Saranac Lake. Kevin Wilson, CPA has joined the team to lead its financial operations as Accountant. Mr. Wilson comes to AEDC after years of public accounting experience, most recently from The Hoffman Eels Group in Lake Placid. He received his Master of Business Administration in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is a certified fraud examiner. Mr. Wilson lives in Lake Placid and enjoys outdoor sports in our region.
Jamie Cecilia has joined the AEDC team to lead small business lending as their Loan Officer. Mr. Cecilia holds a Master of Business Administration from Union College and a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University. He has decades of experience in finance including Chief Financial Officer for a large credit union. Mr. Cecilia also has substantial economic development experience including securing millions of dollars in grants for small communities in New York State. He lives in Plattsburgh and enjoys fishing in the beautiful streams of the Adirondacks and Champlain Valley.
Executive Director Victoria Duley commented “We could not be more thrilled with the tremendous talent that Kevin and Jamie bring to our team. The needs of small businesses, as cornerstones to our regional economic development, are greater than ever. We are confident that these two new team members' skills, commitment, and expertise will enhance our ability to serve the region”.
